Our Irrigation Manager David is here to explain how to calculate how long to run your sprinklers for 1 inch of water per week. We call this an irrigation calibration. During a calibration, our tech sets up measuring cups throughout the lawn, and then runs the sprinklers until the cups reach 1/4 inch. If it takes 25 minutes to get 1/4 an inch, then you’ll need to run your system for an 1 hour and 40 minutes to get 1 inch.
