Happy Cinco de Mayo!! Pest Manager Dylan is here to show us one sign of a termite infestation: mud tubes. Termites travel inside these mud tubes to get to and from where they’re feeding. If you see them on your home, it’s a bad sign! They’re commonly found along foundation walls, in crawl spaces, near plumbing, and in dark, damp areas.
We CAN’T stress enough how many termites live in our area! Getting your home treated and protected is a cheaper alternative compared to the expense of getting repairs. And if you’re thinking that you’re covered because of homeowner’s insurance, you’re going to be disappointed! Homeowner’s insurance DOES NOT cover termite damage because it’s considered routine maintenance and upkeep. That’s why we recommend regular termite inspections to protect your home and show you the signs of termite activity. Be proactive, not reactive when it comes to termites.
