Coneflower, Echinacea purpurea, Echinacea spp., full sun, spring, summer, fall, pink, purple, white, orange, peach, or coral flowers. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
DAISY
Daisy, Shasta Daisy, Leucanthemum spp., full sun, part sun, summer, red, white, yellow or pink flowers. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Benefits from a 2-3″ layer of mulch.
DAYLILY
Daylily, Hemerocallis spp., full sun, spring, summer, yellow, orange, red, pink, white, or purple flowers. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
GAURA
Gaura, Beeblossom, Oenothera lindheimeri
,‘Whirling Butterflies’, full sun, summer, white or pink flowers. Prefers sandy soil. Refrain from fertilizer, which causes the plant to droop.
HIBISCUS (HARDY)
Hardy Hibiscus, Hibiscus spp., Hibiscus mutablilis, Hibiscus laevis, full sun, part sun, summer, white, pink, red, blue, orange, peach, yellow, or purple flowers. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
LANTANA
Lantana, Lantana camara, full sun, spring, summer, fall, red, orange, yellow, lavender, white, pink, or bicolor flowers. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Fertilize once per year.
LAVENDER
Lavender, Lavandula spp., full sun, spring, summer, purple flowers. Grows best in soils with a pH between 6 and 8.
MEXICAN HEATHER
Mexican Heather, False Heather, Cuphea hyssopifolia, full sun, part sun, summer, fall, pink, purple, or white flowers. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
MEXICAN PETUNIA
Mexican Petunia, Texas Petunia, Ruellia simplex, full sun, summer, fall, purple, lavender, pink, or white flowers. Mulch to conserve moisture. Water during hot, dry weather. Lightly fertilize annually in spring with a balanced fertilizer.
SALVIA
