Happy Wednesday! This week, Irrigation Manager David was called to check on a drainage system and found an interesting surprise inside. The client let us know that water wasn’t draining around their patio and pool correctly, even though they have an underground drainage system. After some “digging”, we found two pipes that weren’t sealed together and the roots from a pine tree started growing inside. It wasn’t a lot, but it was enough to clog the drain. After clearing it out, David repaired the pipe and filled the hole, allowing water to drain easier in the future. Proper drainage prevents erosion, damaged grass, and even foundation issues.
