Summer is in full swing, and there’s still plenty you can do to keep your landscape looking its best!
This time of year, we’re trimming Agapanthus, Gardenias, some varieties of Hydrangeas, and most evergreen shrubs like Boxwoods and Hollies. We’re also planning ahead for August, when it’s time to prune Knock Out and Drift Roses.
Important: Don’t trim your Azaleas right now. Pruning this late in the season can remove next spring’s flower buds and disrupt their bloom cycle. We also recommend avoiding heavy pruning during extreme summer heat, as it can put unnecessary stress on your plants.
